Kendelee Leascher Works

Ms. Works has experience representing a diverse array of clients in all phases of the litigation process, including mediation, discovery, motion practice, arbitration, trial and appeal. She focuses her practice on intellectual property and business litigation.

Prior to joining Weide & Miller, Ms. Works practiced at one of Nevada’s premier business litigation firms where she counseled private entities and individuals ranging from local businesses to a national franchise, a governmental agency, real estate developers and professionals and management companies. She also has experience working on behalf of national insurance companies with regard to medical malpractice and premises liability. Prior to completing law school, Ms. Works completed externships with the Nevada State Legislature, Washoe County District Attorney’s Office, Clark County District Attorney’s Office, and Honorable Cynthia Dianne Steel of the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada.

In addition to practicing law, Ms. Works is active within our community as a member of the Executive Council of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada. In that role, she dedicates time to causes that benefit education and children, as well as the leadership of our State Bar. She is also active with the local chapter of the American Inns of Court, which is comprised of local judges, attorneys and law professors that are committed to improving the skills, civility and ethics of the legal profession.
